I wanted to paint something to express all of the things that go on in our hearts.  The flowers represent an emotion.
Joy = Crepe Myrtle, 
Love = Red Carnation,
Desire = Dandelion,
Hope = Star of Bethlehem Flower,
Fidelity = Ivy,
Daisy = sadness,
the Anemone to represent, being forlorn or being forsaken
