I apologize for not posting anything last week.
My schedule has been really tight.
As I stated in my prevoius blog post, I am working more hours to help cover bills (and buy art supplies.) Taking public transit to and from work and three to four hours to my day. It leaves me with about an hour to art at the end of the day. Some days I am just to exhausted to do much of anything, other I end up spending all my time doing chores.
It makes me frustrated. The whole reason I work part time is to focus on art. Now I am not able to. I feel that I am slowly going back back to merely exsisting, being an NPC or by stander in my life. This is not cool and not acceptable!
However there is not a lot I can do about it right now. I need food, shelter, and art supplies. I need to do my part to keep the house hold running. So I work and spend almost half my day on a bus or waiting for a bus.
If you want to help, check out the store, buy something that interests you. Share my art with your friends, maybe they will want to buy something. I also am open for commissions! I can and will paint all sorts of things for all sorts of awesome paying people. I enjoy commissions and I would love to do more.
In addition to work. There is Inktober! If you check out my Facebook or Instagram, you can see that I have been drawing everyday. My theme this year is Nerdtober. Everything is nerdy or gaming related (more table top games than video or sport type games.)
I have been working hard to ensure I get one done every day. I did a bit of cheating... I draw the lines for the week (or more, if I can.) Then draw the ink lines when I get home, after work. So far it has worked, and I have been able to keep up. I do worry that some of the more complicated ideas will not work. I am pushing them towards the end of the month so I can practice drawing them in my sketch book.
No drawings this week, no video either. I have not had time to edit anything!
Thank you for all your support and patience during this busy time.
