So Many Skulls!

Wow, the past few weeks have been BUSY and full of skulls, flowers, and rainbow colors. I have also done a market, lots of rainy weather, and leaving the house!!

This is going to be a long one. I am going to break it down into sections. The cool art stuff will be at the bottom if you are more interested in reading that.

General Personal Stuff - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - *

I have finally gotten into a headspace where I have "free" time to work on getting non-basic survival things done. I have been able to expand the number of chores I can accomplish. I have been able to have actual time to relax and not freak out about things.

I want to say I have been exercising and leaving the house for walks, but I have not. I did leave the house yesterday and went for a nice walk. It was great, but it has not become a regular thing yet. It will happen eventually, but more time is required for that to happen.

General Businessy Stuff - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - *

I have been planning out my social media posts, scheduling events, looking at designing more products to sell, etc on the business front. I am starting to be able to plan future Twitch Stream content, which is a HUGE help.

I have also been able to start improving the Alexandria RPG Library's social media presence and schedule interviews for them. I plan on streaming art or games again on the channel once I get back to that level. I know it will happen, just not yet.

Conventions and Event Stuff - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - *

Conventions are starting up again!! I am so excited and I will be at Crypticon Seattle in August. I kind of think I should make a page with a calendar so you can see where I will be and when... Or maybe not. I share the info a lot on social media.

I will be at Cloneapolooza on Saturday. If you are in the area come support all the artists.

I also recommend checking out ALL the other markets in the Tacoma area. Tacoma Art Markets, Hilltop Indoor Market, Tacoma Sunday Market... The list goes on. The markets have come back with a vengeance.

In the last post, I was working on Skull Towers with different colored skulls. I ended up not liking the direction it was going so I changed that direction. Now I have 13 skulls with flower crowns representing 13 different LGBTQ+ flags.

Can you figure out which one is which? MWAHAHAHAHAHA

I was given a great idea for the Lesbian flag so I may end up with 14 flags.

There are so many more flags and ways for people to share about themselves. I feel like we should let people do things that are true to themselves. If that means something like being attracted to people of the same gender, good for them. They have found a person they are compatible with, something heterosexual couples have issues doing. This choice doesn't affect those who do not know them, either.

I am not one to stop people from doing what is true to themselves. In that, I consider myself an ally. Love and be attracted to whomever you are attracted to. We cannot forget the asexuals, who do not experience sexual attraction the way most people understand it; if they experience the attraction at all. We are all humans and we should some of the society from Bill and Ted's future. "Be excellent to each other."

The next gallery is of the traditional art I have done, which are also themed for LGBTQ+. The small squares are the ones that inspired the mass of skulls with flower crowns.

I created the last two items on stream last night. There is a new Tremors movie (dropped last year,) that was amazing. I had a great time watching it, so I did a quick sketch of it after I was done with the rainbow octopus.

Ok....

I think I am done.

Wow that was a lot.

One last thing...

Join me tomorrow on Twitch for a traditional art stream.
